Rosneft is negotiating a joint venture with Italian Drillmec SpA, which produces and maintains drilling and oilfield equipment .
According to media reports , the assets of the new joint venture owned Rosneft may enter 10 enterprises included in the division of RN-Service .
Companies are discussing the possibility of establishing a joint venture in the near future from scratch or based on existing capacities. According to the preliminary conditions , Rosneft may act as a guarantor of the project and initially ordered 2 rigs with a subsequent increase purchases.
It may be a large order up to 120 mobile and stationary rigs for offshore and on land. In Rosneft this information could not comment . But we know that Rosneft plans to develop its drilling services and attracts for this market leading company.
In addition to production equipment key focus of the joint venture should be training new techniques and methods of drilling and maintenance of the equipment produced by network-based training combines professional workers.
