Governor of Ugra Natalia Komarova held a working meeting with the delegation of Gazprom Neft, headed by the company's Vice-President Alexander Dybal. At the meeting, the sides discussed signing of an additional agreement aimed at the implementation of the national project Establishing a network of domestic technologies and high-tech equipment for the development of the Bazhenov group, and creation of a special Extraction Technologies Development Center Bazhen in the Autonomous Okrug.

“We have accumulated positive experience of cooperation with great potential. In addition, the company pays great attention to introduction of high technology, lean manufacturing methods. We are interested in cooperating with Gazprom Neft in this area and have created a field for the implementation of such projects, with the possibility of replicating them throughout the country. This will lead to development of industry in Russia, in our region, exemption from import dependence. Moreover, we are talking about service technologies, about technologies that are expensive. For us it is important to enter new levels of oil production, so we are willing to cooperate in implementing this project at the widest level and scope of mutual obligations,” Natalia Komarova said.

Alexander Dybal stressed that for the company Ugra is the largest oil producing region with growing production, so it was here decided to start implementing this project.

“We are actually establishing, in many ways on the initiative of the Governor of the Autonomous Okrug, an innovative technological platform where advanced methods of Bazhenov group development will be tested in real oil extraction mode. On the other hand, Russian equipment and technologies offered by our company, as well as other oil producing companies, will be tested,” the Head of the Company said.

Thanks to the support of the Governor of Ugra and the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, the project already has the status of national importance.
