• Jurassic Development Prospects Confirmed at the West-Yurkharovskoye Field

    PAO NOVATEK announced that its wholly owned subsidiary OOO NOVATEK-Yurkharovneftegas has successfully completed testing the Jurassic reservoir at well #135R on the West-Yurkharovskiy license area.

    Governor of Ugra Natalia Komarova held a working meeting with the delegation of Gazprom Neft, headed by the company's Vice-President Alexander Dybal. At the meeting, the sides discussed signing of an additional agreement aimed at the implementation of the national project ESTABLISHING A NETWORK OF DOMESTIC TECHNOLOGIES AND HIGH-TECH EQUIPMENT FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE BAZHENOV GROUP, and creation of a special Extraction Technologies Development Center Bazhen in the Autonomous Okrug.

    . During the drilling of the Tsentralno-Olginskaya-1 well from the shore of the Khara-Tumus Peninsula on the shelf of the Khatanga Bay of the Laptev Sea, three core samples were taken from depths of 2305 to 2363 m, which showed high oil saturation dominated with light oily fractions.

  • LUKOIL COMPLETES DRILLING OF THE THIRD WELL OFFSHORE AT FILANOVSKY FIELD

    LUKOIL has successfully completed drilling of the third well at offshore Vladimir Filanovsky field in the Caspian Sea. The horizontal section of the well is 1,217 meters long. The well flow is around 3,000 tons of crude oil per day. The field’s total oil production currently amounts to approximately 9,000 tons per day.

  • MESSOYAKHANEFTEGAZ BUILDS UNIQUE 800-KILOMETRE DEEP WELL WITH A 1.9-KILOMETRE HORIZONTAL SHAFT

    5 OCTOBER 2016 Messoyakhaneftegaz, a Gazprom Neft—Rosneft joint enterprise, has successfully completed construction of a unique-trajectory well at the Vostochno-Messoyakhskoye field. Well no. 380 is set at a vertical depth of 800 metres, has a horizontal deviation of 1.9 kilometres, a total drilled (measured) depth of 2.7 kilometres, and involved total penetration (tunnelling operations, including two pilot wells) of 4.4 kilometres.

  • VLADIMIR PUTIN LAUNCHED OIL SHIPMENT FROM VOSTOCHNO-MESSOYAKHA FIELD

    Russia's northernmost onshore oilfield, Vostochno-Messoyakha, was officially put on production. Rosneft CEO Igor Sechin, Gazprom Chairman of the Management Committee Alexey Miller and Chairman of Gazprom Neft Management Board Alexander Dyukov took part in the event.

    Gazpromneft Shelf, a subsidiary of Gazprom Neft, has brought a further two production wells (its third and fourth) into production at the Prirazlomnoye field, as well as its second and third injection wells. Daily production on the Prirazlomnaya ice-resistant offshore rig has, as a result, now breached 6,000 tonnes.
